Dog Pricing

DHPP/DHLPP – $18

This is considered a core or necessary vaccination for all dogs. It protects against distemper, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. If this is the first time your dog is receiving this vaccine, a booster is needed in 3-4 weeks

Bordetella – $18

This is more commonly known as kennel cough. This vaccine is advised if your dog interacts with other dogs, attends day care, goes to the groomer or dog park, or is boarded

Heartworm Test – $20

Heartworms are prevalent in Florida and can cause severe heart and lung disease. They are spread by mosquitos. All dogs should be on a monthly heartworm preventative product. We can test your dog as well as provide a preventative.

Fecal Test – $20

Intestinal worms affect the overall health of your dog. Roundworms and hookworms are transmissible to people.  If your dog tests positive for worms, we can provide the appropriate treatment.

Dewormer – $20

There are five main types of worms that commonly affect domestic dogs: roundworms, tapeworms, hookworms, whipworms, and heartworms. Coughing, diarrhea, vomiting and lethargy are the general signs the dog has worms. Other symptoms depend on the type of worm. Most types of worms can be diagnosed with a fecal sample which will be examined microscopically for evidence of worms. In the case of heartworms, blood work is usually necessary.

Microchip – $25

Microchips provide a means of identifying your dog. They are the best method of reclaiming a lost pet. Our microchips are a one time fee and do not require an annual subscription.

Nail Trim – $10

Nail trimming is an essential part of dog grooming and trim nails are one clear sign of your dog’s good health and hygiene.

Heartworm Prevention – see below

Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes, so any area of the country that has mosquitoes—even just a few of them—can also have heartworm disease. Dogs don’t just need prevention during warm-weather months. Heartworm preventives work by treating heartworms that already infected the pet within the past month or longer; meanwhile, preventives need to be given on time, every time to be effective. That’s why the American Heartworm Society recommends year-round heartworm prevention for pets.

Flea Control – see below

Florida is the flea capital of the United States. Fleas are blood feeders and heavy infestations can lead to anemia in your dog. They can also spread tapeworms. Monthly flea control with a safe, effective product is your dog’s best defense.

Cat pricing

FVRCP – $18

This is considered a core or necessary vaccination for all cats. It covers two common upper respiratory viruses as well as panleukopenia which is a severe disease causing vomiting, diarrhea, and often death. If this is the first time your cat is receiving this vaccine, a booster is needed in 3-4 weeks.

FELV – $20

The leukemia vaccine is recommended for all kittens. It is not necessary for adult, indoor only pets. It is recommended if your cat goes outdoors. If your cat is receiving this vaccine for the first time, a booster is needed in 3-4 weeks.

FELV/FIV Combo Test – $25

Both FeLV and FIV can be diagnosed with a blood test that detects the FIV antibody and FeLV antigen circulating in the blood. The antibodies of these retroviruses can be passed from infected mothers through nursing and will pass through the kitten in time. Kittens should only be tested if they are above 8 months of age.

Fecal Test – $20

Intestinal worms affect the overall health of your cat. Roundworms and hookworms are transmissible to people. If your cat tests positive for worms, we can provide the appropriate treatment.

Dewormer – $15

Common intestinal parasites in cats include roundworms, tapeworms, and hookworms. Some, like roundworms and hookworms, can also infect humans. If your cat has worms, you want to get rid of them fast and prevent them from ever coming back. Deworming medications kill the parasites your cat already has.

Microchip – $25

Microchips provide a means of identifying your cat. They are the best method of reclaiming a lost pet. Our microchips are a one time fee and do not require an annual subscription.

Nail Trim – $10

Trimming a cat’s claws every few weeks is an important part of maintaining your pet’s health. Nail-trimming is also a fast and effective alternative to declawing, which involves surgical amputation and can cause behavioral and health issues.

Ear Mite Treatment – $15

Ear mites are tiny parasites that live out their life cycles mostly inside the ear canal. They are quite common and can cause severe irritation and itchiness of the ears. Signs of infection include head shaking, scratching of ears and a dark waxy or crusty discharge from the ears. The mites themselves, however, are generally too small to see with the naked eye. There are different types of treatments depending of the type of ear mite. All pets in the home should be treated at the same time, even if they are not showing symptoms.

Flea Control – Varies

Florida is the flea capital of the United States. Fleas are blood feeders and heavy infestations can lead to anemia in your cat. They can also spread tapeworms. Monthly flea control with a safe, effective product is your cat’s best defense.
