DUE TO A HIGH VOLUME OF CALLS, BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT ONLINE IS THE FASTEST AND EASIEST WAY TO SCHEDULE

NEW COVID-19 Booking information

Our clinic is currently booked 5-8 weeks ahead of time for spay/neuter surgery and large dogs are are 9-12 weeks booked. As these appointments are very important, we now require deposits to book an appointment at the time of booking.  The deposit will be applied toward your pet’s charges, but will NOT be refunded if you do not show up, or cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment. Your appointment will not be confirmed until we receive the deposit. The required deposits are $25 for dogs and $15 for cats. If you would like to be added to our cancellation list, please mention this in the appointment notes when you book your appointment.

You may only book a maximum of 3 pets per day and any request beyond 3 will be denied.

Once you have booked your appointment online you will receive an email with your paperwork attached. Please make sure that you sign your paperwork a few days before you arrive. It is also recommend that you call us 407-476-4748 to confirm the requested services for your pet(s) and pre-pay for all services.

If you or anyone in your family have been exposed to the Coronavirus or have symptoms of the virus, we are kindly asking that you call us so we can make proper arrangements.

Drop-off is at 7:30AM for Dogs and 8:00AM for Cats on the morning of the surgery (see Drive-thru map below).  All cats must be in separate carriers and dogs must be leashed.  All Clients will remain in their vehicle and our staff will come out to your car.  Wait times for check-in average from 15-45 minutes. The line moves faster if you have pre-signed your paperwork and pre-paid for the services. We recommend you contact us in advance of your appointment date to make sure the line can move efficiently.

If your pet has a current rabies vaccination, please bring the paper certificate (not tag) with you. If you are unable to provide the certificate showing the current vaccination, we are required by law to give your pet a rabies vaccination. Please be advised that the rabies vaccination is included with the cost of the surgery. If you live in Osceola County and we administer a rabies vaccination, you will be required to pay $3-6 for the county license.

If your pet is 8 years or older, we require blood work before the surgery, please call to arrange this at 407-476-4748.   We recommend running the test a week before surgery to guarantee that your pet is fit for surgery, as their safety is our number one priority and the cost of this blood work is only $60.00.

Please note that pick up for dogs is at 4:00PM and cats is 5:00PM. Please be on time so you will be able to hear post-operative instructions delivered. There will be a late fee applied for each half hour you are late - no exceptions.

NEW DRIVE THRU DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP PROCESS

Picture
Client drop-off and pick-up procedure – Implemented May 2020
Check-in time for dogs is at 7:30am and for cats is 8:00am.
Clients approaching the parking lot are greeted by a staff member wearing a face mask.  The staff member asks the client their name to check their name off the list, hands them a sheet of paper that the client puts in their dashboard with the patient’s first and last name, and places a green marker under their windshield wipers.  They are asked the following questions:
  • Have you or anyone in your family been exposed to the Corona virus or have symptoms of the Corona virus?  If yes, they are asked to reschedule their appointment in 2 weeks or can demonstrate a negative test result within the last 24 hours.
  • Is your pet on any medication we should be aware of or have any symptoms of sneezing, coughing, runny nose, tearing eyes, diarrhea or vomiting?  If yes, they are told to wait until the information is reviewed by the Veterinarian on staff for guidance on the next step.
  • Is there anything else that we should know about your animal’s behavior or temperament or any other concerns?  The information is recorded and brought to the medical staff’s attention for guidance.
The staff then guides the client to follow the parking lot signage to one of two (2) check-in/payment stations.  Each staff member will be wearing a masks. The requested services by the client are reviewed and any other questions they have answered.  The patient is retrieved from the vehicle and brought inside the clinic.
Pick-up time for dogs is 4:00pm and for cats is 5:00pm.
Cars line up in the parking lot in a similar manner as check-in with the paper with the patient’s first and last name in the dashboard.  While a staff member wearing a face mask reviews post-op procedures with the client, another staff member gets their pet from the clinic and brings it to the car.
