Spay & Neuter

Spay & Neuter and other Surgery Services

Our clinic is currently booked out 5-8 weeks for most surgeries and large dog appointments are 12-16 weeks out. These appointments require a deposit at the time of booking and will be applied to the charges at the time of service.  The deposit will be forfeited if you do not show up for your appointment or cancel less than 48 hours before the appointment.

You may only book a maximum of 3 pets per day and any request beyond 3 will be denied.

Spay/Neuter: $25

Other surgeries: 33% of quote paid in cash

Appointment Requirements

Pre-op Bloodwork is recommended for all pets before surgery. If your pet is 8 years or older, we require pre-anesthetic blood work to ensure that kidney and liver function are satisfactory for anesthesia, as well as an evaluation of the heart and abdomen if needed before the date of surgery.  We recommend running the test a week before surgery.  Please call to arrange this at 407-476-4748. Without the blood work, the appointment will be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited. The cost of this blood work is $105-$150.

Pre-Op Instructions

  • Puppies and Kittens: Please feed your pet(s) a small breakfast morning of surgery. We recommend that they have ¼ of what they would normally eat for breakfast.
  • Adult Dogs and Cats: Please withhold food after midnight. Water is still allowed.
  • Please be sure to sign your consent form requesting any additional services before the date of your appointment. This will be sent electronically to you as soon as your appointment has been scheduled.
  • Clients will remain in their vehicles. Each cat must be in a separate carrier and dogs on a leash.
  • If your pet is current on a rabies vaccination, we must have paper proof of rabies otherwise we will revaccinate. We cannot go by a tag.
  • We accept cash and debit/credit cards as payment. We prefer you pre-pay for your appointment to save time and contact. A payment link will be sent to your email 24-48 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Drop-Off and Pick-up Process

THE DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP PROCESS CAN TAKE UP TO ONE HOUR.  WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU PRE-SIGN YOUR PAPERWORK AND REVIEW OUR SERVICES WITH OUR STAFF IN ADVANCE.

When you enter our parking lot you will be greeted by a staff member to verify your appointment. You will receive a paper for your dashboard with the patient’s first and last name and a green marker for your windshield.

You will be asked the following questions (possibly more than once):
• Is your pet on any medication we should be aware of or have any symptoms of sneezing, coughing, runny nose, tearing eyes, diarrhea or vomiting? If yes, you must there wait until the information is reviewed by the Veterinarian on staff for guidance.
• Is there anything else that we should know about your animal’s behavior or temperament or any other concerns?

The information is recorded and brought to the medical staff’s attention during the pre-surgical exam. It is important to let the staff know everything about your pet so that we can provide the best and safest treatment and service for them.

You will then follow the cones around the parking lot to the check-in staff.  A tech will come out to get your pet. You will then review your services and any questions you have with the office staff before you leave.

You will line up in the parking lot the same as check-in with the dashboard paper visible.  While a staff member reviews post-op procedures with you, another staff member will bring your pet(s) to the car. We recommend that you check your email and pay any remaining balance before pick up.  Any final payment due is collected at this time.

Please be on time for pick up! We will charge a late fee every half hour you are late past your pick up time.
